Dr. Kalim Rayburn brings over 25 years of experience in teaching, learning and organizational leadership in public, private, corporate and non-profit education.  Dr. Rayburn is known for her work in creating, implementing and leading programs in curriculum development, online learning, implementation of instructional strategies, STEM, College and Career readiness.  Most notable is her work as a consultant developing the online Educational Doctorate Program in the School of Education at American University in Washington DC.  Dr. Rayburn’s academic achievement includes a Bachelor’s degree from Long Beach State where she majored in Human Development, minored in Elementary Education and competed on the NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Team, a Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she specialized in Administration, Curriculum and Instruction and a Doctorate in Education Administration from the University of Southern California where she wrote her dissertation titled Customization of Education through Online Learning, a mixed-method study on secondary students accessing online education.  She also holds a California multiple-subject and administrative credential. 

Known for her lifelong commitment to the field of education, supporting organizations with tackling complex situations and generating solutions that align with site specific goals and transforming organizations to better meet their needs to move forward.  Dr. Rayburn is also an Associate Adjunct Professor at USC in the Rossier School of Education where she teaches in the School Leadership Academy, Masters of Teaching Program and Educational Doctorate Program specifically in Organizational Change Leadership.   

When not sitting with a book, behind a monitor or with a team of colleagues, you’ll find Dr. Rayburn on a walk with her mini-whoodle Albie or on the golf course with her partner Marc.
