Jason Porter, M.S. Ed.
Senior Education Strategy Consultant
Mr. Jason Porter has spent more than 20 years in education, at the university, K-12 and non-profit sectors. Mr. Porter is passionate about life science and STEM education and has spent much of his career supporting youth to explore the world around them. In addition, Mr. Porter has experience supporting teacher professional learning, promoting educators to build inclusive, inquiry oriented learning spaces that lead to the development of agency in students. Much of his work with educators has been spent coaching teachers to reach their professional goals and the learning goals of the students in their classroom, both within the US, within the International School community and in rural communities outside the US. In addition to being a published author and presenter, Mr. Porter holds a Master of Science in Education from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. He also holds an Instructional II 7-12 Biology credential with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Porter enjoys traveling, hiking camping and birding with his family, a teenage son and his wife of over 20 years.
